Privacy policy

Homesake for iPhone and the Homesake website. Last updated 27 October 2026.

In short: the Homesake app does not collect, send or sell any of your data. There is no account, no tracking and no advertising. Everything you add stays on your phone. The only thing we ever hold is your email address, and only if you join the early access list.

What the app stores

The rooms, items, tasks, notes, part numbers, costs, names of people in your household and completion history you enter are saved in the app's private storage on your device. Label and home info photos you take or choose are copied into that same storage. None of this is sent to us or anyone else.

What we collect

Nothing. Homesake has no servers that receive your data, no analytics and no third-party tracking or advertising code.

Permissions

Things you choose to share

This website

The website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. It remembers whether you chose light or dark mode in your own browser's storage; that choice never leaves your device. The site is hosted by Netlify, which, like any web host, processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Early access list

If you join the early access list, we keep the email address you give us. It is stored by Netlify, our website host, and used for one thing: a single email telling you Homesake is on the App Store. After that email is sent we delete the list. To be removed sooner, email us and we'll delete your address.

Deleting your data

Delete items or rooms in the app at any time, or delete the app to remove everything it stored. We hold no copy.

Children

Homesake is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change and the app update notes will say so.
